Ljubo Ćesić Rojs
Ljubo Ćesić , (born the February 20th 1958 (or June 9th 1966) in Batin, commune of Posušje (Herzégovine), Yugoslavia currently in Bosnia-Herzégovine) more known under its nickname Rojs , is a general officer of the Croatian Armée and a politician with Extrême right-hand side.
Genius
Having studied the Civil engineering (specialization in transport infrastructures) at the University of Zagreb, Ljubo Ćesić reached notoriety during the wars in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzégovine as commander of the 66e regiment of the Génie of the Croatian Army. Its unit built on the border between the two countries of the mountain roads which allowed the Croatian Armée to overflow the Serb forces of Krajina and Bosnia, during and after the Opération Storm in 1995. For these successes, Ljubo Ćesić was promoted with the row of Général.
Beginnings in policy
Its activities of post-war period, like the use of its unit for civil contracts and the infringements in particular with the industrial legislation, did not prevent Ljubo Ćesić from almost also quickly climbing the steps of the party HDZ (Croatian Union democratic) where it incarnated a tendency of extreme right-hand side there. At the end of the years 1990, it was one of the most known leaders, bourrus, extremists and discussed.
The business of the FC Hrvatski dragovoljac Zagreb
It was implied in many accounting scandals concerning the football club of NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac. It was shown with one of its close relations Stjepan Spajić to bleach thanks to the club several million Kuna coming from the Ministry for Croatian Defense by buying several million plastic glasses. The instruction is currently closed since the death of Spajić in 2004.
Deputy in Sabor
February 2nd 2000 with the December 22nd 2003 it sat like Député at the Croatian Parliament, the Sabor. At the beginning of the years 2000, as a member of Sabor, it started to take its distances compared to Ivo Sanader and the center tendency of HDZ. There remained however member of the HDZ on paper while carrying out many declarations as much coloured than discussed. He publicly proposed for example with George W. Bush to be voluntary for the invasion of Iraq. One of its discussed public appearances was a combat with naked hands with another deputy in Sabor, Dino Debeljuh, which showed the exclusion of Ljubo Ćesić of the plenary session of Sabor this day.
Not grata in HAVE
It is in addition one of the leaders of the Committee of the Veterans of War, where it took in particular made and causes for Ante Gotovina, fugitive general sought by the International penal court for ex-Yugoslavia. June 29th, 2004, it was placed like four other Croatian nationals on the list of the persona non grata of the European Union to have sought to help of the people continued for war crime to escape.
Rojs chair
In 2005 he was independent candidate with the Croatian presidential election. During the electoral campaign he declared being in liaison with fugitive general Ante Gotovina. An investigation showed thereafter that its remarks in fact were completely stripped of base. Ljubo Ćesić finishes sixth with the first turn with 1,85% of the votes cast and left HDZ definitively.
Show business
After the autoproclamé success of its political career, it appeared in several comic emissions on television, for example Robert Knjaz' S Mjenjačnica in which two or several celebrities exchange their lifestyle for one short period. In the episode where it appeared, its alter-ego was Neven Ciganović, celebrates designer and figure of the Croatian gay medium.
