Ljig

Ljig , in Serb Cyrillic Љиг, is a city and a municipality of Serbia located in the district of Kolubara. In 2002, the city counted: 2979 inhabitants and the municipality of which it is center 14.629.

The town of Ljig is of recent creation, since its name is mentioned for the first time in 1911, in connection with the construction of the railway connecting Lajkovac to Gornji Milanovac.
