The Lézard of the walls is small a Lézard of Europe, which was also introduced in North America.
Description
Lizard of hurled form, extremely polymorphic species, with an extraordinary variability of the scales, a very variable coloring, Brown, Gray or even Greenish. The ventral face is clear, yellow or reddish. The throat is mouchetée of Noir.Male 20 cm, exceptionally 25 cm. Female 18 cm.
Distribution
One finds it in all the Europe south and even until in Alsace and Brittany.Live the old men Mur S, the stone heaps, the rocks, the careers and appreciates in particular the rails where the trains do not circulate any more… Much more urban that other species.
One can observe this lizard all the year in the south.
Food
Insecte S is nourished (Mouche S, caterpillar S and butterfly S, Orthoptère S), of Araignée S, Vers of ground, Criquet S, crickets, tineas…
Reproduction
The Accouplement takes place with the Printemps, followed Ponte which, according to the areas, intervenes between April and June. The duration of the Incubation is from four to eleven Semaine S.
