Liza Minnelli
Liza May Minnelli , born the March 12th 1946 with Los Angeles (California), is an actress, singer and American dancer. She is the girl of the actress and singer Judy Garland and of the second husband of this one, the realizer Vincente Minnelli. According to Fred Astaire in That' S Entertainment : “If Hollywood were a monarchy, Liza would be our princess heiress. ”
Childhood and Career
Minnelli is resulting from very an artistic big family, between light comedy, circus, actors and singers. Nearly six generations of artists on the maternal side. Liza May Minnelli was married (and divorced) four times:-
Peter Allen (of his civil name Peter Allen Woolnough) (March 3rd, 1967 - 1972, died of the AIDS in 1992).
- Halley Jack, Junior, (September 15th, 1974 - 1979), producer and realizer. His/her father Jack Halley, divided the poster with Judy Garland in the Magician of OZ in 1939.
- Mark Gero (December 4th, 1979 - 1992), sculptor and director of review.
- David Gest (March 16th, 2002 - July 2003), producer and organizer in concert. In spite of a project of adoption of a 3 year old young girl, the couple separates on July 25th, 2003. It follows a dreadful divorce procedure, relayed by the scandal sheets of the whole world.
It was also dependant with the realizer Martin Scorsese, the actor Peter Sellers, the pianist Billy Stritch, and the actor Desi Arnaz, Jr.
