Lixus
Lixus (rear RTL ليكسوس) is a ancient Ville rested by the phenicians into -1100, it is located at a few kilometers in the north of the small town of Larache to the Morocco, on Right Bank of the wadi Loukkos.
Lixus is one of the more acians and the most important ancient cities of the Atlantic coast. Haloed prestige in antiquity, it is quoted in Greek mythology as a legendary city where two of the exploits of Hercules are located. It is in Lixus, indeed, that this mythical hero would have overcome Antée, the founder of Tangers, and gathers gold apples of the garden of Hespérides, that defended a dragon.
