Live the Festival

Vive the Festival is a group Electropop, founded in 1997 with Ghent (Belgium). The core of the group is made of Danny Mommens (guitar and song) and Els Pynoo (song).

Biography

Live the Festival was founded in 1997 when Mommens (whereas he still played in his preceding group DEUS) recorded demonstrations with Els Pynoo (ex-mannequin) on an old analogical recorder with cassettes. Their first success came with Surprised Attaque (2000). The following albums Popular republic (2001) and Sleepless night (2003) made them popular, especially in the medium of the mode, where Karl Lagerfeld is one their fans. In 2005 they record Grand Prix . Live the Festival leaves its 5th album " Day of chance" in June 2007 after 2 years of round throughout the world. In always shifted style, slightly electro, but always such an effective.
