Live Wire

Live Wire is a character cd. Comics appeared in monthly magazine devoted to the hero Superboy. It appeared for the first time in Legion off Super-Heroes volume 4 #0. It is based on the character of Lightning Lad, appeared in Adventure Comics #247.

He is the twin brother of Spark and the young brother of Lightning Lord.

Biography

Origins

Garth Ranzz grows on Winath, where almost everyone is born with a twin. The majority of Winathéens find that their twin is their best friend, but Garth, for which the twin is a sister rather than a brother, rather follows the example of his/her Mekt older brother.

All started at the time the twins left with Mekt for a voyage in the new spaceship of their parents and failed on the deserted Korbal planet when the energy cells of the ship are exhausted. Ayla suggested using the " Lightning Beasts" (only living beings of planet) to try to reload their batteries. That had as a result to plunge them in the coma due to massive electrocution.

While leaving to its research, Garth discovered what he thought impossible: his/her brother took part in criminal activities. Creation of the Legion of the Supermen

Its research was temporarily stopped when, one day on Earth, it and two other teenagers (Rokk Krinn and Imra Ardeen) saved the life of R.J. Brande. This billionaire, fascinated by the Old Heroic one, managed to convince his 3 savers to form the Legion of the Supermen which would serve the all lately formed organization of Plain Planets. Garth, using code name Live Wire, was glad to work at Imra Ardeen, very tempting living of Titan. Its career of Legionary finished after some missions, when its native planet, which regarded it as fugitive, sent Ayla to represent them instead of letting Garth do it.

Solo

Désappointé by the turning of the events but still optimistic in its capacity to find his/her brother Mekt, Garth joined Workforce, the team of safety of the company of Leland McCauley, for one short period.

It set out again in the search of his brother when the White Triangle Daxamite attacked the Earth. It then reinstated temporarily the Legion in order to help them to overcome them. In spite of the opposition of Cosmic Servant boy, the president of the Plain Planets Jeannie Chu wished again the departure of Live Wire of the group. Garth set out again once again in the search of Mekt.

In the search of his/her brother

When it found it finally, Garth was shocked not to recognize its idol of childhood, replaced by a fatal criminal who seeks at all costs to kill all to be capacities containing luminous rays in order to be able to be single, a rebellion towards the system of the twins of their planet all in all.
