Live Aid

The Live Aid is a historical concert with humane vocation, having taken place the July 13rd 1985, organized by Bob Geldof and Midge RUE. Y were gathered artists as Queen (principal head of poster in this concert), Phil Collins (which played London then taken the Concorde to go to play Philadelphia), The Who, Elton John, Sting, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Status Quo, Cat Stevens, U2. This event mainly was at the Wembley Stadium of London and at the John F. Kennedy Stadium of Philadelphia. One estimates at 1,5 billion the number of people having followed it in more than 100 different countries. Its success inspired the songs The Tide is Turning of Roger Waters and One Vision of Queen. The entirety of the event Live Aid was marketed (always at caritative ends) in the shape of a box quadruples DVD in 2005, at the time of its twentieth birthday.

It is on this same occasion that the experiment is renewed: it is about the Live 8, which was held the July 2nd 2005 but this time in a more international dimension. Indeed concerts took place in the towns of Philadelphia, London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Toronto, Tokyo, Johannesburg and even Moscow. Following the example Live Aid, Live 8 was marketed out of box DVD to support its cause.
