Lithuanian alphabet
The Lituanien uses the Latin alphabet modified including/understanding 32 letters. The alphabetical classification is the same one as that of the French aphabet except for the " Y" who places himself between " I Ogonek " (Į) and " J". The diacritic letters follow the letter from which they derive.
The acute accents and serious as well as the will macrons and tildes can be used to mark the tonic accent and the length (see the article Accentuation of the Lithuanian). They, are not noted however most of the time except in the dictionaries. The digraphs are also used but regarded as sequences of two letters. The " Ch" represent a velar consonant fricative, whereas the others correspond simply to the letter which compose them.
