Capsule

The Mercury capsule was designed by Maxime Faget and NASA 'S Space Task Group. It is particularly small, with only 1,7 m {{exp|3}} of space for the single one occupying. Inside 55 electric switches, 35 mechanical levers and 30 fuses are, which makes a total of 120 controls.
