List the resistant ones
This article contains a list of personalities engaged in the resistance during the Second world war. These individuals took part clandestinely in one or the other of the following types of action:
- data transmission with the Allied ,
- violent actions against the occupant Nazi, such as sabotages, attacks, ambushes, etc
- mask of the required people (Jewish S, homosexual, others resistant…)
Some were decorated with the Médaille of Resistance, and all dared to defy the authority of the occupant Nazi in period of war. ----

- Jean Mauguet (Mr. with Rieux in August 1944): resisting French of the Oise (Picardy) close to Creil which killed a German general. In August 1944, at the advertisement of the allied arrival, it started to fight in the streets and was cut down by a German soldier. A street of Rieux still bears its name
- Guillaume Mercader, chief of the Organization network civil and military, with Bayeux in the Calvados
- Edmond Michelet
- Jean Moulin (1899-1943): alias " Max" initially French soldier of 1914 to 1918, then resistant, it was stopped on June 21st, 1943 by Gestapo in his friend Frederic Dugoujon because it was followed by another resistant, Rene Hardy. He was tortured then transferred to Gestapo from Paris, and finally he was sent to Berlin for another interrogation but he died in the train.

- Marcel Tournier, born with Champfromier (Ain), medal of Resistance with rivet washer, killed on mission in Dagneux on September 14th, 1944. It fights at the side of the French and American troops which fight against the Germans going up the valley of the Rhone. It is killed in Dagneux close to Meximieux, at the time of a reconnaissance mission, on September 1st, 1944. The Germans burn his corpse with gasoline.
