Senators by division

At the Quebec, senatorial divisions are fixed by the constitutional Loi of 1867 and can be modified only by one constitutional amendment, contrary to the others provinces where divisions do not have any legal existence and are not that an optional designation chosen by the senator. Each division is represented with the Senate by only one member. The senators must also have grounds of a value of 4000 $ or to have their residence in their division. There are 24 division senatorial in Quebec; on September 21st 2006, there are 2 vacant seats in Quebec.

Senatorial divisions of Quebec and Acadie car-are indicated for the senators named under the terms of the clause of regional expansion used by Brian Mulroney to increase the full number of seats to the Senate by two coming from each area the September 27th 1990.
