Here a list of the most common postures or Asana S of Hatha yoga .
One finds terms Sanskrit S commun runs in the name of the asanas. Generally, in fact Préfixe S are used for several postures with an aim of explaining a variation of it.

Ardha means " demi" , " latéral"
- Adho means " to the bottom "
- Baddha means " lié"
- Parivrtta means " retourné" or " in torsion"
- Supta means " renversé"
- Urdhva means " to the top "
