List naval battles of the American Civil War
This list of the naval battles of the American Civil War indexes principal the naval battles having opposed the confederated States to the States of the Union during the American Civil War. These engagements preceded the modern bases of the naval Guerre. The two armies used as a majority of the armoured with vapor, the Sous-marin S and strongly rested on the Naval artillery.
The June 22nd 1865, the battleship with vapor confederated CS Shenandoah drew the last blow from gun of the American Civil War in the Bering Strait, more than two months after the rendering of the general Lee.
