Television channels

The hertzian television channels of Guyana are:

Creole Antenna Guyana (ACG) which diffuses a mixture of the programmings of TF1 and M6, as well as newspaper of local and national information and some local emissions.

Tele Guyana, the principal chain of RFO in Guyana which diffuses local emissions, in particular the newspaper in French and Creole, emissions in bond with the others DOM-TOM and of the programmings of France 2 and France 3.

Tempo Guyana, a chain of the group RFO devoted to documentary which takes again partly the programming of France 3 and France 5.

Canal+ Guyana, the chain Canal+ adapted to the Guianese schedules.

Among the television channels by satellite, the Brazilian chains are very looked at, in particular Globo.

France-Guyana , the principal daily newspaper of local, national and international information in Guyana.

the Press of Guyana , a daily newspaper published by the general advice which treats local current events, national and international (not very known locally, perhaps disappeared). Indeed, it changed title.

the Guianese Week , a weekly magazine devoted to the programs TV which also proposes reports.

OKA.MAG , two-monthly published by association Oka.Mag (law 1901). It is defined as follows: " the magazine of the Amerindians of Guyana is the expression of their culture, their will to be heard, and their difficulties with the quotidien".

GuyaMag , a free monthly magazine published since June 2005 by the Guyana Area and whose slogan is " to work, undertake and live in Guyane". The publication director is Stephan Cau.

Touloulou Magazine , re-examined official of the Guianese carnival appearing annually since 1994.

the louse of agouti , a triennial newspaper of association éponyme. Today disappeared, it treated until 2004 of sensitive topics in connection with the Environnement in Guyana.
