List citizens of honor of Mannheim

Since 1820, the town of Mannheim , in the Bade-Wurtemberg (Germany) decrees the title of citizen of honor ( Ehrenbürger ) to personalities which were not inevitably born in Mannheim and which inevitably did not live there, but whose work played a significant part in the life of the city.
