List bishops then archbishops of Paris
The archbishop of Paris is one of the 23 archbishops of France. The tradition reports that the diocese was created at the 3rd century by holy Denis, and was high with the row of archdiocese on October 20th, 1622. Its suffragan dioceses, are Versailles created on November 29th, 1801 and the dioceses of Creteil, Évry-Corbeil-Essonnes, Meaux, Nanterre, Pontoise, Saint-Denis, created on October 9th, 1966. Its seat is with the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris of Paris.
The title of Duc of Saint-Cloud who gives the peerage was created in 1674 for the archbishops.
