List bishops of Belgium
This list covers only the period of independent Belgium. All the dioceses are gathered here because Belgium forms an ecclesiastical province: in the great moments of the history, the bishops of Belgium signed their standpoint collectively, it is consequently useful to have a synchronic sight which supplements the order of succession. The figure between brackets which precedes the name by the bishop indicates its row in the order of succession since the creation of the diocese.
