List attitudes and movements of transition from figure skating

A attitude is a static position of slips with choreographic vocation.

Within the meaning of the new regulations of RESULTING (COP, Code off Points), an attitude must have the free leg (more particularly the knee) above the basin of the skater and hold at least three seconds.

The legs and the bust must remain static, the arms and the head being able to make movements.

The slit

Slip on a leg, bent knee, the other leg slips with the back on the interior of the boot. It makes it possible to slow down.

The arabesque

At least slip on a tended leg, the other tended behind lifting to the top of the basin to 90°.

The window (foot in the hand)

Slip on a tended leg, the other foot held in the hand on the same side.

The royal one

Slip on a tended leg, the other foot held in the opposite hand.

Biellmann

Slip on a tended leg, the other foot held with one or two hands above the head.

Y

Slip on a tended leg, the other foot held on the side. One catches the foot by the point of the shoe.

The eagle

Legs in opening, legs tended.
  • Small eagle = interior curve
  • Large eagle = external curve

The slit Ina Bauer

Slip in straight line, feet opposed, the knee before bent, the back leg tended in inside, right or cambered bust.

The inside Gilletti (swan)

Slip on a foot leg very bent in inside, the other crossed tended leg, right bust.

The spider

Slip on a foot leg very bent in inside, the other crossed tended leg, lengthened bust very low, arms drawn aside on the ice.

Spiral of attitude

It is a succession of at least three held attitudes at least three seconds.

Circular

Trajectory in the shape of circle (or light oval) broadest possible, centered or not on the skating rink.

Serpentine in three lobes

Trajectory on the basis of the mileu of a width and finishing about the middle of the opposite width.

Serpentine in two lobes

Trajectory on the basis of the mileu of a width and finishing about the middle of the opposite width.
