List animal species disappeared during the historical period
Disappearance is a natural process which belongs to the evolution. In this list, are not considered the prehistoric animals (Dinosaure S, Mammouth S, etc), but only the animals of historical times. The majority were indirectly exterminated directly (by hunting) or (destruction of the natural habitat, importation or introduction of foreign, or invasive species) by the man.
