List Lieutenant-Generals or Baillifs de Sancerre

This article presents a list of the Lieutenant-Generals or Baillif S of the town of Sancerre of 1470 until year 8 of the Republic.

The people of the list held the basic high ranking authority and capacities and of high justice that the counts of Sancerre had delegated to them. Indeed, the counts and countesses were only not very present in their county and managed their business by the intermediaries of lieutenants and baillifs the representative on the spot.
