Lisl Goldarbeiter
Lisl Goldarbeiter , makes of it Liesl-Elisabeth (born the March 23rd 1909 with Vienna; died the December 14th 1997), was originating in Vienna and posed like model for photographs. In 1929 she was elected Miss Universe and remains until now only Autrichienne in the history to have carried this title.
She was the girl of Izso Goldarbeiter (born in 1877), a merchant of modes originating in Szeged in Hungary and in Aloisia, born Schimek. She lived with Vienna, to the 5 of Freilagergasse, until the July 27th 1937. On this date, it was withdrawn with Preßburg. Its most known representation is due to the painter Carry To raise.
In 2005 its life to the screen by Peter Forgács under the title Miss Universe 1929 - Lisl Goldarbeiter was carried. In Queen in Wien .
