Liskamm
The Liskamm (or Lyskamm) is a mountain of the the Valaisan Alps in the east of the Cervin and the west of the Mont Pink on the border italo - Suisse between the Valais and the Val of Aoste. It has an Eastern top (4 527 m, 8th alpine top) and a Western summit (4 479 m, 11th alpine top). Liskamm was sometimes called the man-eater .
The first rise was carried out the August 19th 1861 by William Edward Hall, Jean-Pierre Cachat, Peter Perren, Josef-Marie Perren, J.F. Hardy, J.A. Hudson, C.H. Pilkington, A.C. Ramsay, T. Rennison, F. Sibson, R.M. Stephenson, Franz Lochmatter, Karl Herr and Stefan Zumtaugwald.
