Lioudmila Ivanovna Tchernykh (ЛюдмилаИвановнаЧерных) (born the June 13rd 1935) Russian Astronome is a .

It was born with Chouïa, in the Oblast d' Ivanovo. In 1959, L.I. Tchernykh was graduate of l' teaching university of state of Irkoutsk . Between 1959 and 1963, she worked with the laboratory time and frequency of the National research institute in physico-techniques measurements and radiotechnologies with Irkoutsk, where she made astrometrical observations for the Service of time . Between 1964 and 1998, it was hard-working scientist with the theoretical Institut of astronomy of the Academy of Science of the USSR (Academy of Science of Russia since 1991), working at the base of observation of the institute to the astrophysical Observatoire of the Crimea on the site of Nauchny. Since 1998, it is hard-working scientist at the observatory of astrophysics of the Crimea.

It is the wife and the colleague of Nikolaï Stepanovitch Tchernykh. The Astéroïde (2325) Chernykh was named in their honor.

She discovered many asteroids, of which the asteroids Apollo (2212) Héphaïstos and (3147) Samantha.
