Lions of Washington

The Lions of Washington are old a professional frankness from Hockey of the American Ligue of hockey based with Washington (the United States).

History

Founded in 1941 to play in the American League of hockey, the Lions evolved/moved two seasons before being dissolved because of the Second world war.
In 1947, the team made her reappearance within the LAH before being moved two years later with Cincinnati where they became the Mohawks of Cincinnati.

Foot-note : Other franknesses bore the name of Lions of Washington: in ECHL (1944-1947) and in Eastern Hockey League (1951-1953 and 1954-1957).
