Lionel Baier
Lionel Baier (born the December 13rd 1975 with Lausanne) is a Réalisateur Suisse.
As of 1992, it programs and manages jointly the Rex Cinema with Aubonne. In 1999, it launches out in the realization with “Nice crunching”, a short film of fiction. Its first documentary, “That in Pasteur”, is diffused by the French-speaking Switzerland Télévision and the fact of knowing. It then turns “the Parade”, documentary on the Gay Pride 2001 in Valais.
Since 2002, he is chief of the department cinema of the cantonal École of art of Lausanne. In 2005, it obtained to the cultural Price “Young creators” of the Foundation of Vaud for promotion and artistic creation. He saw himself in addition decreed “Best European director Prize”, with NAVE 2005 of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
