Link Wray

Fred Lincoln " Link" Wray Jr (May 2nd, 1929 - November 5th, 2005) is a guitarist of American Rock-and-roll. Since its title-success, " Rumble" (Link Wray and his Ray Men - 1958), it is famous to be precursory in the manner of exploiting the sounds of its electric guitar.

Link Wray is the author of two titles headlights, Rumble and Rawhide , published under its name. He will collaborate then in 1977 with Robert Gordon.

He is also the inventor of the guitar Fuzz , discovered by boring small holes in the loudspeaker of his amplifier.
