Lineage II
Lineage II is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) in 3D developed and published by NCsoft. The L2 abbreviation is commonly allowed to indicate it. Lineage II is the play number two in Korea, exceeding from now on its predecessor Lineage with more than 4 million active players .
Presentation of the play
; A world all in 3D Lineage II was developed by using a modified version of the UnrealEngine 2.0 to obtain the best visual representation of the world of Aden. The goal of the development team was to create an alive world where the environment, the monsters, the characters and the combat are very realistic. The level of detail obtained allows also a strategic play: you can place soldiers on key sites on the ramparts of the castles, and even obtain an overall vision of the battle while flying to back of dragon. All these scenes are obtained thanks to most recent technologies 3D and a powerful graphics card is recommended to benefit fully from the splendid landscapes suggested.; Universe in constant evolution The first version of Lineage II called " prelude" was much less rich than the current play. With the wire of time, evolutions called " Chronicles" were developed. Each one marks a passage in another stage of the history of Lineage and is accompanied by addition of contents, like new new functionalities in the play, but also the appearance of new objects, weapons, armours, monsters,…
The current version of the play is " Chronicle 5" (announces of Chronicle 5 on the official site). Certain rumors speak about a total about but this was not confirmed by the editor at present.
; Easy training, difficult control Lineage II applies the same philosophy of interface as its predecessor, Lineage. The simple and intuitive interface, based on the mouse, helps the beginners at quickly learning displacement and the combat. Principle of the play

Various classes
The player, starting from a certain number of levels reached and in the condition of having achieved one or more said specific searches searches of class, with the possibility of choosing to follow a “class”, i.e. a prototype giving his specificities as particular competences allowing inter alia the handling of new weapons and the improved characteristics.
For example, human reaching the level of experiment 20 must choose one of the following classes:

- Cleric, a class of magus being based on his defensive magic, and its fates of care. (Buffer/Healer)

These passages of level symbolic systems make it possible to the player to use objects more powerful. Indeed, a system of rank limit the use of the objects:

Starting from level 75, it is possible to begin a search which makes it possible to play a new class called subclass . For example a dark avenger will be able to choose to make a subclass Prophet: it will have from now on the possibility, while speaking with the approrié NPC, to play either its principal class ( mainclass ), or to play its subclass, the inventory being common to both classes. The subclass, during their creation, are level 40, and they can be gone up up to level 75. There will be the possibility of taking 3 subs of his choice, knowing that the second sub could be started only if level 75 is reached on the first sub, and so on for the third sub.
When one arrives has to have a sub level 75, a new opportunity is offered to the player: the Nobility. The statute of noble, obtained after a long search, brings many advantages to the player. It in particular makes it possible to take part in the Olympiads, competition between Nobles the purpose of which is to determine best each class to recognize to him the ultimate row of Lineage 2, the rank of Hero. The craft industry
In Lineage II , the craft industry is especially controlled by the race of the dwarves. Indeed the latter are the only able ones to manufacture objects. The objects create, if they are available to the sale in the shops of NPC, in fact are sold less expensive, but the majority of the objects are manufactured only by the dwarf players, which returns them particularly required. There exist several types of objects manufactured by the dwarves:-

To manufacture an object, the dwarves must have above all a receipt. Once this receipt in hand, the dwarf can manufacture the object, on the condition of having the raw materials necessary. The object manufactured is generally sold to other players on the place of a city.
From the rank B, the crafts require like ingredient the receipt in itself. Thus, not only the dwarf must have learned the receipt, but the player wishing to manufacture the object in question must have one second receipt.
There exist " Common Recipes". They are receipts being able to be used by all the classes. They are accessible via the Clan House or by fishing. Those make it possible to manufacture:

The combat between players
Contrary to plays like EverQuest 2 where the combat between players (or PvP for Player versus Player ) is strictly prohibited, Lineage II encourages the players in PvP and this by a system of CP and karma . CPs, or Combats Points (points of engagements) is points as well as the points of mana or life, and has their own bar, above that HPs & MPs. These points do not decrease that within the framework of PvP: at the time of PvP, they (except skill particular) are indeed removed before the point of life of this one, increasing the life of the players virtually, within the framework of PvP. This system, associated with that of the karma, occupies a prevalent place in the play because according to the karma of a player, this one can be seen refusing the services of the GateKeeper , the sale and the purchase, or being made attack by various NPC such as the guards of the cities.By defect the player has a karma of 0, and it is neutral, its name is written in white. The players
There exist also arenas of combat especially planned for the engagements between players.
In these zones, none the rules concerning the karma applies. Thus, a player will not lose an experiment nor of object if it has suddenly been overcome and the winner is not regarded as aggressive.
Lastly, the players can fight to take the control of castles, scattered throughout the world of the play. The players are registered by clans or alliances to be opposed to the current owners of the castle. These battles are particularly wild because gathering a big number of players and often of very high levels. If there is as much passion for these castles, it is that their possession brings many advantages as obviously of new apartments but also the possibility of defining the amount of the tax which the owners will touch on the objects sold in the stores of the city close or the level to aggressiveness of the guards (to let become or not the aggressive players).
Chronicle 3 in May 2005 marks a strong rupture with the others chronicles known before with the arrival of the Seven Signs (Seven Signs). The idea was to put a permanent competition between two teams which are Dusk and Dawn in the race with the Seals (Buckets). This competition is voluntarily addressed has all the players, small or high levels. Scions off Destiny was generalized on February 8th, 2006. It is probably the chronicle which upsets more Lineage2. To make a list of its contents would be almost impossible. First of all the two kingdoms Elmore and Aden one amalgamated and of new zones are from now on accessible.

Saga 1: The Chaotic Chronicle

The first version of Lineage 2 called Prelude, started in 2004 on April 27th on beta Korean then generalized at the same time in the United States, Japan and Korea. December 8th, 2004 marks the official starting of the PTS (Public Server Test) of Chronicle 2 in Korea. The difference between Chronicle 1, and Chonicle 2 is not obvious, primarily of new zones in the South of the chart, with the city of Heine and its Innadril castle. Under the name of " Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne" (Thrône of Chaos) Interlude new Opus announces a new series of chronicles, and this last is put at disposal on the Korean waiters in December 2006 for finally being propagated in Europe and at the United States on April 11th, 2007.
