Line of bus the RATP 171

The line of bus the RATP 171 connects the Pont of Sevres and the Château of Versailles .

It serves the communes of Boulogne-Billancourt, Sevres, Chaville, Viroflay and Versailles.

History

  • August 13rd 1934: the line of bus n°1 replaces the old line of tram of the same number between the Louvre and the castle of Versailles.
  • September 2nd 1939: the line does not serve any more Paris, it is limited to the correspondence with the subway with the bridge of Sevres.
  • May 16th 1940: installation of a reduced service
  • May 27th 1940: Resumption of the normal service to the Bridge of Sevres
  • June 11th 1940: the line is removed
  • May 19th 1941: re-establishment of the service between Versailles and the Bridge of Sevres
  • March 4th 1942: the terminus is deferred left bank of the bridge of Sevres (prohibition to circulate on the bridge)
  • May 6th 1942: the normal terminus is restored Right Bank
  • May 1st 1943: the line is renumbered 71
  • July 4th 1944: the line is again removed
  • October 23rd 1944: re-establishment
  • March 19th 1945: suppression
  • June 16th 1945: re-establishment
  • November 5th 1945: according to the plan of renumerotation, the line takes the index 171

Partial services are carried out between the Pont of Sevres and the Left station of Chaville-Bank or the station of Right Chaville-Bank .
