Line has tram of Orleans
The line has Tramway of Orleans is a line of North-South orientation of the network SEMTAO which connects Jules Verne (Fleury-les-Aubrais) to Hôpital of the Source (Orleans). It crosses the downtown area of Orleans, the the Loire by the Pont Georges-V and Olivet. It will have an interconnection with the line B on the level of the Station De Gaulle (Tram of Orleans)
History
The line was open in 2000.
In 2006, approximately 42.000 travellers per day borrow it, in increase of 2,7% compared to 2005. The SEMTAO then considers the purchase of three new oars.
Material
The line is exploited thanks to 22 oars Citadis 301, built by Alstom. Each one is baptized name of one of the 22 communes of the Communauté of agglomeration Orleans Loire Valley.
