Line array
The Line array is a linear network, a vertical stacking on line of a certain number of pregnant S Acoustique S. A line array is thus not inevitably a system able to reproduce a Wave front continuous, comparable to a single sound source of great dimension. So that a line array is comparable to a line source, it will have to answer the criteria of WST, defined by work of Christian Heil and Marcel Urban.
