Equipment and electrification
It is electrified in 25 Kv single-phase current of:- Paris with Gretz-Armainvilliers (Parisian suburbs)

Preliminary works with the electrification until Troyes were to begin in 2006. The electrification of this section should cost 210 million euros. However, the opening of LGV Is European could compromise the modernization of this line.
A remarkable viaduct is built with Chaumont. It goes back to 1856.
