Linda Martin

Linda Martin (born the April 17th, 1947) is a Chanteuse and a stimulating of Irish Télévision .

Career

It is member of the group Chips and they try their chance with the Irish preselections of the Concours Eurovision of the song but without success. Then, it takes there share four times as a soloist and once as a member of the group Linda Martin and Friends . With nine participations, it is that which will have been generally presented to the Irish eliminating heats. It represents twice the Ireland with the Concours Eurovision of the song: in 1984, with Final 3 , a song of Johnny Logan (under the pseudonym of Seán Sherrard), it is classified second and in 1992, with the title Why Me (written by Johnny Logan) which gives to Ireland its fourth victory.

The artist then presents a quiz on RTÉ ( The Lyrics Board ), one of the Irish emissions most popular. It is then member of jury for the emission of RTÉ You' Re has Star .

In October 2005, the singer takes part in the emission Congratulations celebrating the fiftieth birthday of Eurovision with Copenhagen with the Denmark
