Lincoln Park (Chicago)

Lincoln Park is one of the 77 sectors of the town of Chicago, Illinois, with the the United States.

History

The area of Lincoln Park of the town of Chicago still consisted of primary forests not exploited by Europeans until 1820.

In 1824, the American army establishes a station on the level of the current avenues of Clybourn and Armitage. Indian installations existed along " Green Bay Road" (now called " Clark Street" in homage to the explorer George Rogers Clark), to the intersection of " Halsted Street" and " Fullerton Avenue".
