Lincoln Center
The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is an arts center of New York, where are based a dozen artistic companies. Located on the island of Manhattan at the south of the Upper West Side, it was built in the Années 1960 and was belonged to a plan of urban renovation conceived by Robert Moses. The complex occupies six hectares between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, of the 62e to the 68e street. It is the first attempt carried out in an American city to gather several major cultural institutions thus.
