Limpopo (river)
The Limpopo is a river of the Southern Africa. It takes its source inside the continent and throws in the Indian Ocean after approximately 1 600 km. Its principal affluent is the Olifants. Part of its course determines the border between the Zimbabwe and the South Africa.
14 Million people lives in her catchment area which covers approximately 413,000 km. The demand for water exceeds the resource, forcing the population with a great poverty and episodes of malnutrition and bad harvests.
