Biography

From origin Algeria kabyle, LIM was born in 1979 with Boulogne Billancourt in the Hauts-de-Seine. LIM begins the rap in 1990, at the nine years age, with the group Mo' vez Lang, at the sides of Boulox (Djibi Diop) and Taxable quota Nino (Houcene Marega). In 1994, it took part in the European round of the “Wise poets of the Street”. The first appearance discographic takes place in 1995 in cool sessions 2 of Jimmy Jay with the piece “Poison youthful” with its Mo' group vez. In 1997, left the mini LP Happy “In the sound system” which makes them redécouvrir with the public with “Original Future Style” at the same time as Malekal Morte or Sir Doum' S. Ensuite arrives the stage of the first album of the Mo' group vez Lang in 1999, preceded by some appearances noticed thanks to the energy released on mixtapes and other compilations (Meeting Paris New York, Nouvelle Gives).

It takes part then in particular in the title “Animals” for the album Idle period of Booba, and after a passage at the label 45 Scientific, which it will leave for internal reasons, LIM makes the decision car-to be produced. It then decides to assemble with Fouéd (R.A.T aka Nothing has Tégra) its own structure “All Illicit”, under which it carries out the mixtapes Urban violences in 2002, Double Urban violences in 2004 and Triple Urban violences in 2006.

In its first album solo, Child of the ghetto , LIM makes us discover his universe, its thoughts and its principles. Faithful to the street, one finds pieces speaking about drug, the police force, the sex, of the muddles, but LIM can also tackle other subjects such as “maltreated childhood”, or the fight against drug in “Drops Helene”, where he addresses himself to the accros with heroin. One will find on the album of others featurings, like Mala (Malekal Morte), Fantom or Supa Lexx (Boogotop). This album is entirely own-produced, of the texts to promotion, while passing by the sounds. It is accompanied by a DVD of approximately 1:30 including/understanding of the interviews of itself and Fouéd, Denver, thus of lives, freestyles, and the clip “C for my Brothers” of 9mn30.

The same year leaves the album Rue , born from the good agreement between LIM and the rappor Alibi Montana. (LIM had on the occasion to pose on the album of Alibi Numéro of Nut ). The production of this EP is ensured by Menace Records (and not Hostile), the label on which are signed Alibi Montana and its little brother, Alino the alligator.
In 2006, LIM poses on good number of works: the mixtape Prison (featuring Karim and produced by Yzo), the album of Holocost ( money of the brinks ) like that of Alpha 5.20 ( To live and Die in Dakar ). Moreover, its third mixtape is born (Triple urban violences). This opus widens this time the sector of its participants in whole France. It is then possible to discover, in addition to the first 5 titles entirely dedicated to LIM, of the rappeurs of all France, such as Karl' 1 (77) or to redécouvrir those already heard on Urban violences and Double Urban violences .

In order to announce the exit of its second album solo, LIM releases on June 18th, 2007 the Maximum Delinquent in the vats with in particular the presence of the title polemizes " One Them Baise" , piece which aims at the American rappeurs. Its second album solo, Delinquent , left on October 22nd, 2007 and returned 1st of the signal all categories confused at the time of the first week with more than 12.000 sold albums.
