Lilium bulbiferum
Lilium bulbiferum , the lily (or lily) orange is an indigenous species of the mountains of Central and southernmost Europe. It is presented under two subspecies:

Lilium bulbiferum L. ssp. croceum (Chaix) Baker , with orange flowers, is indigenous Massif of the Jura, the Western Alps, Spanish slope of the the Pyrenees, the Apennines and of Corsica. The dwarf variety chaixii meets in the maritime Alps and the robust variety giganteum in the south of Italy. The orange lily was formerly naturalized in the rye fields of the north of the Netherlands and the Germany.
- Lilium bulbiferum L. ssp. bulbiferum , with flowers red fire and equipped with bulblets among the higher sheets, is indigenous mountains of East Germany and Czech Republic, of the Eastern Alps, Carpates Western and Balkans.
Lilium bulbiferum is of culture easy in normal ground with sunny exposure. The subspecies bulbiferum is disseminated easily via its bulblets. Lilium bulbiferum is one of the parents of the out of date hybrid Lilium X hollandicum .
