Like Away with Me

As Away with is to Me the first album of the singer and pianist Norah Jones, left in 2002.

Although with prevalence Jazz, the album comprises influences of the music Folk and Soul, which contributed, in addition to the fresh voice of the singer, to draw the attention of the public and the critic. As Away with Me was roughly sold to 20 million specimens in the world and gained 8 rewards with the Grammy Awards of 2003, of which the title of the disc of the year, album of the year and song of the year. The album left the February 26th 2002, and climbed quickly in the charts, gaining even the title of platinum album the August 22nd 2002. Of this fact success grows even more, the album being sold with more than 7 million additional copies at the time of the following year, and the February 15th 2005, obtains RIAA the title of diamond album.
