Ligoure

The Ligoure (of " liga" , mud) is a small French river of the High-Vienna. It takes its source close to the commune of the Rock-the Bee, commune of the south of the department and is thrown, after a way south-north of about fifteen Kilomètre S approximately, in the river Briance just downstream from the rocky outcrop carrying the castle of Châlucet.

It crosses the communes of Saint-Priest-Ligoure (High-Vienna) and Saint-Jean-Ligoure (High-Vienna).

It also crosses a small solid mass of Diorite S, Granitoïde containing only very little quartz.
