Ligny
Ligny (as a Walloon Line ) is a section of the common Belgian of Sombreffe located in Walloon region in the Province of Namur.
It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.
Nearly 2000 people live there.
Ligny is known by the fact that Napoleon Bonaparte gained his last battle there (the Bataille of Ligny) the June 16th 1815, two days before the Bataille of Waterloo.
