Liga ACB

The Liga ACB ( Asociación de Clubs of Baloncesto ), is the most level of the Championnat of Spain of basketball (the only one which does not belong to the Spanish federation). It is one of the best leagues of Europe. It indeed gathers clubs which appear among the best of the Euroligue like FC Barcelona, the Real Madrid or Tau Vitoria. But these large teams are not safe from defeats vis-a-vis the other teams, the championship being rather homogeneous.

But it is also the European league which has the best structures: rooms whose average capacity exceeds the 7 000 places, an excellent press coverage…

Liga ACB was created in 1983.

Liga ACB counts 18 teams. The first phase of the competition proceeds in the form of a championship. 8 the best disputes then the play-offs. The final proceeds with best of the 5 matches.
