Biography

Heather and Davis Cameron were sauveteuse and a surfer and lived a life all that there was of more normal in the Paradis of the surfers in Australia, however when the capacities of Heather made their appearance, the latter kept them secret and used them for its work on the Australian beaches. At that time, the demonstrations of its capacities were a control of water and currents and an ability to be breathed under the water which enabled him to save lives that nobody other could have saved.

At the time of an attack of the gangster gangs in their opposition, due to the assassination of their father, they learned by the X-Treme X-Men that this last was in fact a lord of the underworld known under the name of Viceroy, indeed, its assassination by the Chinese Triad had been the engine of an unrestrained research of the gangs to find his/her two children. They were then helped by Tornade and Thunderbird III (new Thunderbird), which helped them to embank their adversaries which were Sebastian Shaw and Lady Mastermind.

During the combat, the latter took the control of Sage, but one of the transformations of Lifeguard enabled him to enter the spirit of Sage and the latter controlled Heather to be released, nevertheless this “possession” was one of the elements determining, with the activation of gene-X of his/her brother, which caused a rancour of Heather towards Sage.

At this time, Heather discovered the extent of its capacities, indeed, the gene-X of the latter enabled him to make him take any form necessary to save the life of a person in danger around it or to save its own life. Its capacity can give him wings, an armor of gold, the capacity to breathe under water, or other capacities less perceptible, but quite as unforeseeable. Some fans of comics had seen in this capacity the Deus ex machina , which led to a certain rejection of the new character of Chris Claremont.

Heather since joined the brilliant team of X-Men and started a connection with Thunderbird. During the mission of infiltration of the galactic vessel of the lord of war, Khan, Heather was metamorphosed in a kind of alien, it would result from the royal family rear Shi', one thus supposes that this metamorphosis is due to a genetic heritage. However, his/her brother, frightened by the transformation of his sister who is unable to find her appearance first and of which it rejects the identity, recognizing it, flees, at this point in time Lifeguard and Thunderbird left to its research, but today still, the site of Slipstream is unknown.

There are little time, Lifeguard and Thunderbird left on Genosha, to help a local team of the X-Corporation .
