Life parades
Life Parade is a religious organization which is given for goal “to organize, to promote or produce cultural events to encourage the respect of culture of life”. It is also the name of the principal demonstration of this association which takes place each year in spring in Paris.
Statutes and objectives
Life Parade is an association law 1901 with nonlucrative goal, recognized general interest since 2007, which wishes to promote the “culture of the life”.Association Life Parade is supported by deputies and senators of various parties, of which the senator Jacques Baudot (UMP), former president of association “Hello Maltreated Childhood”, Franck Meyer (UDF), spokesperson of the 12.500 mayors for childhood , Jean-Marc Nesme (UMP), deputy and mayor of Paray-le-Monial and spokesperson of the “Parliamentary Agreement for the right of the child to be high by a man and a woman”.
Officially aconfessionnelle, Life Parade is supported by many associations, denominational or not, such as the Catholic Family associations, the Committee Protesting for the Human dignity, Association for the Protection of the Life and Health (APVS), the Young Witnesses of the Human life, the Alliance for the rights of the life, Enfants of Mekong, the Fondation Jerome Lejeune , the Servants and looking after Life, Mission Church-Drug-Drug-addiction, Choisir the Life, S.O.S Childhood…
She is regarded as being close to the movement Pro-life French by certain newspapers taking again the point of view of Prochoix.
The financial resources result from gifts of private individuals and the product sales derived, such as tee-shirts, CD, lighters or stickers, finance also association.
The parade and the festival
Created in 2005 per Emile, singer in an rock group, it organizes each year a parade of the same name, Life parades in the streets of Paris with music Techno, circus, fashion parade, tanks with topics, followed by a festival presenting concerts, testimonys and associations, in order to sensitize the participants in the problems involved in the “culture of life” and to propose to them to engage in its favor. In 2005 it joins together from 10000 to 15000 participants according to the organizers.The objective is to promote subjects which their seem important while bringing a “new and positive glance with regard to weakest, of poorest and marginalized” (children, elderly, SDF, handicapped people, doped…).
In 2006, at the time of the walk of May 20th, it left an individual disc and a clip. A newspaper entitled “Very favorite” is distributed to 100.000 specimens. Jean-Pierre Foucault wrote the leading article of the edition 2006.
The third edition of Life Parade was held on March 17th, 2007 in Paris. In full electoral campaign, it gathered several thousands of participants (1300 according to the police force, 10.000 according to the organizers) of which many young people on the topic " Not with the homoparentalité".
Belgian Swiss S, and Uruguay ens work with the organization of Life Parade in their countries in 2008.
Other cultural activities
Always to this end of “promotion of the life”, Life Parade is a tool of performances of service for the organization of cultural events and a musical label. Its vocation is educational, scientist, social, humane, family, cultural, and contributes to the development of the artistic inheritance, with the diffusion of the “culture of life”.It supports also the diffusion of plays alternate like Chair of my Flesh of Myriam Toulzat and the groups of music Pop Rock'n'roll.
Life Parade carried out opinion polls to Paris, with Lyon, Nantes (short film) near the French on the question of the Couple and the family.
She is also at the origin of a national petition (called " Not with the homoparentalité") for “the right to the child to be high by a man and a woman”
For 2008, it prepares a campaign of short film, happenings and ranking of the media on the topic of the dignity of the woman.
