Lieuvin
The Lieuvin is a natural area of the the Eure, located at the west of this department.
It is a plate Bocage R which is limited to north by the estuary of the the Seine, in the east by the valley of the Risle, in the south by that of the Charentonne. In the west, it is next to the Pays of Trough which corresponds to the catchment area of the Touques. Its surface is approximately 790 km ² and its average altitude of 150 Mr.
Lieuvin corresponds to the cantons of Beuzeville, Saint-Georges-of-Vièvre the, Thiberville, and with part of those of Cormeilles (except the valley of the Calonne), of Pont-Audemer and Montfort-on-Risle (in the west of the Risle).
The saving in this area is primarily agricultural (breeding of the bovines, various cultures).
Its favorable situation close to the coast Norman (Honfleur, Deauville etc) and a good service road by transport (passage of the highway A13 and A28, proximity of the bridges of Normandy and Tancarville and of the airport of Deauville-Saint-Gatien) make that the second home is numerous there, especially in the northern part).
The largest boroughs are Beuzeville, Épaignes, Lieurey and Thiberville.
