Lieusaint (Seine-et-Marne)

Lieusaint is a common French, located in the department of Seine-et-Marne and the area Île-de-France.

Its inhabitants is called Lieusaintais.

Geography

The commune is served by a station on the RER D. Lieusaint is located at 4kms (in the South) of Combs the City, with 8kms (in the East) of Evry, with 14kms (in Western North) of Melun, with 18kms (in the South) of Creteil, to 30 km (in North) of Fontainebleau, to 33 km (in the South East) of Paris, to 42 km (in the Western South) of Meaux, with 56kms (in the West) of Layered branches.

It belongs to the community of communes (new city) of Sénart.

The commune is surrounded by a5a highway in the South, and Francilienne (N104) in North and the West.

  • Square Sénart: shopping mall. The Sénart Square shelters a cinema of seventeen rooms. There is a hypermarket (Crossroads) and several shops, restaurants and stands… It is on two levels.

A Bowling (Bowlingstar) has just settled there. The Sénart Square is in full extension and continuous to develop on the Northern part (Shopping Park, 13 new signs). In addition, the first office buildings (Treasury), as well as a hotel residence are born.

Twinnings

Mederdra (Mauritania) This twinning goes back to 1987, several actions were undertaken, participation in the electrification of the city, supply of wind mills, material for the schools and the co-operatives, materials medical and dental, computer material, installation of the dispnsaire, furniture for the Town hall and associations, construction of a fence for the afforestation partly low of the city, contribution of books and vidéos for the House of the Book, cultural exchange and building site young people, etc. Participation in the sending of a container each year and visits of a delegation of Lieusaint on the spot.
