Liers
Liers (in Walloon Jubilation ) is a section of the common Belgian of Herstal located in Walloon region in the Province of Liege.
It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.
The village is located on the old Roman way connecting Tongres to Herstal and immediate of the highways E40 and E313, as well as industrial park of the Tops-Sarts. On its territory is located old the Fort of Liers, one of the 12 forts of belt of the town of Liege.
