Lielupe

The Lielupe is a river of Latvia which starts close to Bauska on the level of the junction between the Mēmele (30 km sometimes counted like part of the river) and the Mūsa. It sprinkles Jelgava before being thrown in the gulf of Rīga meadows of Jurmala. The average slope is of 0.1m/km. Its flow goes from 10.3m ³ /s at least to 1380m ³ /s to the maximum what makes it navigable on meadows of 100 km.
