Lichtenau (Westphalia)

Lichtenau (Westphalia) is a city of Germany, located at the east of the Land of Rhineland-of-North-Westphalia in the district of Paderborn.

Lichtenau (Westphalia) has limits - starting in the south in the direction of the needles of a watch - with the town of Marsberg (district of Haut-Sauerland), the town of Bad Wünnenberg, Borchen, the town of Paderborn and Altenbeken (district of Paderborn) and the towns of Bad Driburg, Willebadessen and Warburg (district of Höxter).

According to the principal statutes ( Hauptsatzung ) of the city, Lichtenau (Westphalia) is composed of fifteen quartiers : Asseln, Atteln, Blankenrode, Dalheim, Ebbinghausen, Grundsteinheim, Hakenberg, Henglarn, Herbram, Herbram-Wald, Holtheim, Husen, Iggenhausen, Kleinenberg and Lichtenau.
