Library Carnegie (Rheims)
This municipal Bibliothèque of Rheims whose construction started in 1921 was inaugurated in 1928.
It owes its name with Andrew Carnegie which, by the means of its equipment for international peace financed it the shortly after the First World War.
It is the architect max Sainsaulieu who conceived the plans of them. It is about a construction which took account of all the last developments of the Bibliothéconomie.
This chief of work of the Art Déco comprises an exceptional decoration. One can quote among other works the gloss of the large hall drawn by Jacques Simon, Master-glassmaker Rémois, and large the Verrière of the room of reading due to Jacques Gruber.
